City Royal Secondary school is a mixed school for both boys and girls. The school also has a junior (Nursery and Primary) section both situated Nyanya, in the FCT ( Federal Capital Territory), Abuja. It was founded in the year 1990 by Late Comrade Edward A. Onwe who saw the need to provide quality educational opportunity for the children whose parents reside in the newly established Federal Capital Territory Abuja. The school started with a population of 3 students, 6 teachers in a rented space where classes were held, in the same year(1990) the school moved to its permanent. By the grace of God, over the past years we grew to became the best private school in the entire Nyanya. The school has made it's presence known in the entire FCT. In the year 2010 the school hosted the Former Deputy Senate President Dimeji Bankole. The school have won numerous awards, too many to mention especially in the areas of science and technology, sports, debates, etc This year(Jan 2020) alone, specifically on the 21st January, two of our brilliant staffs and students were at GSS Karu for the National institute for legislative and democratic studies quiz competition they performed extremely well and where qualified for the grande finale coming up on the 28th January to be held at the National Assemble. We shall will keep you updated on our performance in that event. City Royal Secondary School met all standards as required by the federal ministry of education after a thorough inspection by a team of inspectors from the education department, the school was given approval to run both junior and senior secondary schools in FCT. All examination bodies WAEC, NECO, JAMB, NABTEB, JSCE, State common entrance have their centres in the School. The management of the school expects every student that passed through it to strive harder and achieve al round excellence while within and outside school premises.
